Join the Paws
Wedgewood Pharmacy in Swedesboro, NJ, NorthStar VETS in Clarksburg, NJ and Broad Ripple Animal Clinic in Indianapolis, Indiana are at the help of Join the Paws. They have built a coalition of animal health professionals and pet owners who care about animals called Join the Paws to help animals affected by natural disasters.
When the catastrophic earthquake hit Haiti in January of 2010, they worked together to raise awareness and funds to support the American Rescue Dog Association (ARDA), who sent search and rescue dog teams to find people trapped in the rubble. And when the oil leak happened in the Gulf Coast,they teamed up with veterinarians and pet owners once again to support the work of the National Wildlife Federation who is working there to save animals affected by the spill.
When disaster strikes in the future, they will come together again to raise awareness and funds to effect the positive change needed to help animals.
