The Carpenter’s Flasher Wrasse is found the the Philippines, Indonesia and other parts of the Western Pacific. It is also known as the Red Fin Flasher Wrasse.

Males are 3.1 in., females are 2.5 in. Dottybacks, other Wrasses, Damsels, and Dwarf Angelfish may consider this fish an interloper. The minimum tank size is 46 gal. The aquarium should be decorated with live rock and plenty of hiding spaces. This will help the Carpenter’s Flasher Wrasse feel safe and overcome its shyness. This fish is a good jumper so a tight-fitting lid is essential. Feed a diet consisting of frozen food such as brine shrimp and daphnia as well as finely chopped shrimp, crab meat and mussels. Some specimens will eat flake food.
