Also known as the Boulet, Soft-coated Griffon, it was developed in 1872 by Emanuele Boulet in France.

What does the Boulet look like?

Males are 21-23 inches tall and females are 19-21 inches tall. Weight is 44-55 lbs. The muzzle is long and broad, thickly mustached ending in a brown or blond nose. Eyes are yellow with thick eyebrows. Ears are pendant and hairy. The tail is straight and carried low. The coat can be sleek or wavy. Color is a shade of brown like dead leaves, sometimes with white markings. Brushing regularly will keep the coat in good condition. Ears should be checked weekly.
