The California State Senate has approved S.B. 1221, a bill that bans hound hunting of bears and bobcats, protecting all 3 animals.
The bill is now one signature away from becoming law. It is on Governor Jerry Brown’s desk waiting for him to sign. Governor Brown has signed other animal protection bills including outlawing the shark fin trade. We hope he will do the same and end this barbaric hunt.
California residents, please call Governor Brown at 916-445-2841 and urge him to sign S.B. 1221 into law.
