Domino Damselfish

The Domino Damselfish is a hardy fish, and can tolerate conditions which would kill other fish. It is a good beginner fish. It is found in tropical Indo-Pacific from the Red Sea to Southern Australia. The Domino Damselfish is almost entirely black with three white spots.

Males grow to 5.5 in., females to 4 in. Most fish ignore juveniles and older fish can hold their own. Two Domino Damselfish in one tank will not get along. It is best to introduce this fish to the tank last so that it will not get territorial. Tank size is a minimum of 80 gal. The tank should be filled with live rock and plenty of hiding spaces. This fish is an omnivore and will eat a varied diet. It should be fed twice a day.
