Installing a dog door will probably make you and your dog happier. If your dogs are anything like mine, they are in and out what feels like a million times a day.
There are doors available for all sizes of dogs, from your little Chihuahua to you huge 120 lb. plus dog.
Doors come in many different styles and I would recommend you test for your dog’s size before purchasing. Check what your door is made of as some dog doors are made for certain types of material.
Look for a door that has a weather tight seal to avoid letting the elements indoors. There are automatic dog doors that use a key. The key is battery-operated and water resistant and attaches to your dog’s collar.
I would not recommend installing a dog door unless you have a safe, secure are outdoors for your dog.
