Tamer Elsafy, the CEO of Flexcin International, spoke to Fox News Channel about the trend of more Americans adopting older pets as opposed to puppies and kittens. Flexcin, the makers of Flexpet has a program to help shelters across the country adopt out more senior pets. Elsafy spoke live on Fox News Channel about how the FlexPet Shelter Program is helping more families and couples adopt an older dog from rescue shelters. New studies show couples believe an older dog may fit their lifestyles better than a young puppy, and some are even saying an older dog is the perfect companion right now since they’re waiting longer to have children.
