As long as there are animals who are abused, abandoned and neglected, there will be a need for animal welfare organizations. Many organizations are working tirelessly to promote animal welfare. Some care for homeless animals while others lobby the government for legislation that protects animals, both domestic and wild. These organizations deserve our recognition and our support:
