Exotic pets are usually not tame.If you really want an exotic pet you must thoroughly research your choice and decide if you are prepared to assume the cost and care . Among popular exotics today are sugar gliders, chinchillas, kinkajous, alligators, fennec foxes, hedgehogs, squirrel monkeys, ball pythons, mona monkeys, reticulated pythons, white lions. You must check the laws concerning ownership of these and other exotics as regulations are different state to state and country to country. My personal opionion: these animals and any others considered exoctic or wild belong in their natural habitats. Sadly, most of them don't live very long because of improper care or abandonment.
