Many of us use peanut butter to entice our pets to ingest their vitamins, supplements or medications. But manufacturers of some brands have decided to replace sugar with xylitol, a sugar substitute that is toxic to pets.

Please check labels of peanut butter or any foods you give your pets to make sure that xylitol is not one of the ingredients. A small amount of xylitol can be lethal to a pet.
