Queensland Angelfish

The Queensland Angelfish is also called Meredith’s Angelfish, Yellowtail Angelfish and Yellow-finned Angelfis. It is found in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. It has a blue head with yellow spots.

Males are 10 in. long, and the females are slightly smaller. Juveniles can be vulnerable to attack from aggressors, but adults are mainly ignored. Tank size is a minimum of 120 gal. These fish graze on live rock and are known to pick at corals and other invertebrates. Therefore, they are specifically recommended for large, fish-only aquariums. Provide a varied diet, of both meaty foods (shrimps, sponges) and algaes.
