Primal Pet Food has voluntarily recalled their Feline Chicken and Salmon Formula, Best By date code 043112-17. It may be contaminated with salmonella. No other Primal pet foods are affected.

Novartis Animal Health has advised on January 25, 2012, that foreign tablets may be in certain bottles of Clomicalm (clomipramine hydrochloride) tablets. Clomicalm is used to help with separation anxiety in dogs. Several products packaged at a facility in Lincoln, Nebraska were recalled over similar concerns.
