How old is my tarantula?

I got my tarantula full grown. I've had him for about 6 months. How can I tell how old he is?

It is very difficult to determine a tarantula's age. Different species and genders vary in when they mature and their lifespans. Males live about 3-6 years. Females can live 30-40 years. Quite a difference. We will be writing an article explaining how to tell a tarantula's gender and approximate age.
