Friends of Animals (FOA) is reminding pet parents to spay or neuter their dogs and cats during this coming spring season.
When your pet has an unplanned pregnancy, it results in abandonment of the offspring or sending them to shelters, and in either case, the end is the same – a cruel death.
FOA is offering low cost affordable spay/neuter procedures through their network of participating veterinarians.
You can get a certificate for the procedures either online at FOA or by calling 1-800-321PETS for an order form.
We are aware of the ongoing controversy over early spay/neuter of pets. However the alternative for the offspring of un-spayed and un-neutered dogs and cats is too cruel to contemplate. So please, unless you are a legitimate breeder, spay or neuter your pet.
