12/28/11 Petrus Feed & Seed Stores Inc. recalled it’s dry dog food – 21% Protein Dog Food in 40lb. Petrus feed bags. The product was manufactured with corn which tested above acceptable levels for Aflatoxin.

The products were manufactured by Cargill at its LeCompte, Louisiana facility between 12/1/10 through 1/2/1/11. Updated lot numbers are 4K1011 through 4K1335.

Aflatoxin is a toxin produced by a certain species of mold commonly found in cereal grains.
