Nestle Purina PetCare Co. has voluntarily recalled approximately 870 bags of dry cat food shipped to Colorado, Idaho and Oregon. There is the possibility that the product has been contaminated with Salmonella.

Here is the list of products recalled:

Cat Chow Naturals Dry Cat Food – 6.3 lb.; Best by Aug. 2012, Production Code 10331083 13; Bag UPC Code 17800 11320.

Friskies Grillers Blend Dry Cat Food – 3.15 lbs.; Best by Aug. 2012; Production Code 10331083 06; Bag UPC Code 50000 08450.

Friskies Grillers Blend Dry Cat Food – 16 lbs.; Best by Aug. 2012; Production Code 10381083 06; Bag UPC Code 50000 57578.

There have been no reports of illness to date. This is a precautionary measure. No other Purina products are involved.
