The FDA has cautioned against the use of unapproved animal product, Douxo Seborrhea Shampoo (0.1% phytosphingosine) distributed by Sogeval Laboratories, Inc. of Coppell, Texas after recently receiving a report of the death of a woman associated with the use of the product on her dog.

ALERT – Novartis Drug
Novartis Animal Health has advised on January 25, 2012, that foreign tablets may be in certain bottles of Clomicalm (clomipramine hydrochloride) tablets. Clomicalm is used to help with separation anxiety in dogs. Several products packaged at a facility in Lincoln, Nebraska were recalled over similar concerns.
