Do skunks make good pets?

Skunks require a lot of your time and attention. The can be drstructive and they have special diet needs and health care. Of course the scent gland must be removed. Rehabilitated wild skunks or those bred in captivity are the better choice. As pets, it's illegal in most U.S. states. Unless you are knowledgeable about them and have lots of time to devote to a skunk, it's best to leave them in the wild.
