Bearded Dragons are omnivores, meaning they eat both meat and vegetable matter. When they are young they eat isects for the most part but as they grow, they will start to eat more vegetable (and fruit) matter. T
he diet of a juvenile dragon (2-4 months of age) will consist of approximately 80% insects (and even mealworms and waxworms) and 20% greens. As they get older you can feed your dragon 25% fruits and veggies WITH ONLY 10% comprising of fruit (this has to do with a phosphorous calcium ratio and sugars) and 75% insects (supplemented with protien based items you can find in a pet store).
