Do Iguanas swim underwater? can they hold their breath for long periods of time?

The green iguana can hold its breath underwater for up to 30 minutes. It swims by holding its legs close to the body and using its tail to propel itself through the water. The marine iguana can hold its breath underwater for about 80 minutes. Not to worry, the iguana is smart enough to come up for air.
