The normal body temperature for a dog can be between 100 - 102 degrees Fahrenheit or 38  - 39.2 degrees centigrade. If your dog's temperature is over 104 degrees or under 99 degrees, contact your veterinarian immediately as this could indicate an emergency situation. Temperatures should be measured rectally although there is a dog's ear thernometer that is fairly accurate. A dog's temperature cannot be measured any other way.
