I have 2 hamsters. I've had them about 6 months and they seem to be doing well. Do they need healty vet checkups? Are there any shots that they should get?

No, hamsters do not have vaccinations and it's probably not necessary to take them to the vet. If they are eating well, eyes are clear, coat is normal and their behavior is normal, then your hamsters sound healthy. If aniything changes and you suspect they might be ill, then take them to the vet for a checkup.
