Wildwood Seed & Specialties of Monroe, Oregon, has voluntarily recalled some of their Sleek and Sassy brand bird and small animal food. These foods contain raw in-shell peanuts that were recalled by Sunland Inc.. Sunland Inc. extended their recent recall of peanut butter and other nut butters due to possible salmonella contamination.
Sleek and Sassy products are sold in plastic bags, jars and paper bags. The products affected have the manufacturer’s codes 01148 through 01241.
The products included in the recall are Garden Conure, Garden Large Hookbill, Garden Large Hookbill-no sunflower, Garden Parrot, Nutty Garden and Grain, Garden Macaw, Garden Complete Pellet, Fortified Large Hookbill, Fortified Large Hookbill-no sunflower, Fortified Parrot, Fruit Veggie Nut Treat, Garden Small Animal, Garden Guinea Pig/Rabbit, Small Animal.

Consumers who have purchased listed lots of the Sleek and Sassy brand are urged to stop feeding and return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
