What are the best toys for my parakeet?

There are so many toys on the market, that it's really hard to choose just a few to put in his cage. Which are the best kind?

Try wooden gyms, mirrors, bells, swings, ladders, puzzles. Introduce one or two toys at a time, rotating them weekly. Be careful with toys that he can pull apart. Check toys daily and cut off any loose threads or dangerous pieces.
