How can I get my cat to stop walking in front of my computer while I'm working?

I love my cat, but every time I sit down at the computer, he feels obligated to sit in from of my computer screen. I take him off the desk, but he keeps on coming back. What can I do so that he'll let me work in peace?

Does he like water? Use a spray bottle whenever he comes to the computer. Or anything else he doesn't like. We do that for our dog. :)
