Should I be worried that my bird won't touch his cuttlebone?

I put a cuttlebone in my birds cage, but he never touches it. Should I be worried? Is he missing out on important nutrients that he needs? He seems to be a happy and healthy bird.

It's important for the bird to use the cuttlebone as it not only supplies some nutrients, it helps to keep the beak trimmed. Try offering a new or different cuttlebone and see if that helps. Give your bird some wooden toys to chew on. If the bird's beak is growing too long, it must be clipped by an avian vet.
