One solution is to purchase an automatic fish feeder. Test the feeder for a few days before you leave to make sure it works well. It should not be used on a regular basis because it can't make the changes that might be necessary that you can see if the diet needs to be adjusted. Alternatively, you can ask a friend or neighbor to feed your fish, making sure you give them explicit instructions on care. Even with an automatic feeder, you should ask someone to come in at least once a week to make sure everything is working properly.
