What is the best food for my horse?

The most important and major part of a horse's diet is a high quality hay or pasture. Grain can be offered in small amounts 3 or 4 times a day. Learn what the normal  weight of your horse is and feed amounts accordingly. Keep in mind that breed, size and activity will determine the number of calories necessary. Check with your vet if any supplements should be added to the diet.
