You could add 2 or 3 snails or algae-eating fish to the aquarium to help get rid of the algae. Controllingl the amount of light that reaches the aquarium will help. Clean out any leftover food and change the water regularly. Also adding live plants such as Black Molly can help keep algae under control. Clean any hard surfaces as soon as you see algae forming.
