I've read confilcting articles about whether to feed my horse hay before grain or grain before hay. What should I do?

The bulk of a horse's diet should be roughage from hay or pasture grazing. If you do feed grain, feed after hay consumption. It's best to feed grain in small amounts several times a day making it easier for the horse to digest it effectively. Hay should always be available.
