Answered: Why are pets good to have

Sorry to be answering late but we were on vacation due to the Passover holidays. Pets are wonderful additions to anyone's life as they give so much and ask for so little in return. Studies have proven that having a pet relieves our stress besides teaching us compassion, unconditional love, living each day as it comes, overcoming obstacles and so much more. On a personal note, my pets have helped me through many rough patches and I can't imagine not sharing my life with a furry, scaly or feathered friend.

Answered: i have a mouse and it has an unknown deasis

If your mouse is ill, it's best to take it to a veterinarian who knows about exotic pets. Write down as much information as you can such as when the mouse started showing symptoms of illness, what the symptoms are, the mouse's diet, how old the mouse is and how long you've had him, what type of cage, what bedding you use. All this will help the vet determine what is wrong with your mouse.

An Infographic on Tech for Pets

Hi there, My name is Tom Clarke and I am the Marketing Manager at a not for profit organisation called Greyhounds As Pets. We adopt and foster retired greyhounds into loving homes. Needless to say, I am an animal lover, and I enjoy researching and creating content that like-minded animal lovers may find interesting. We have recently created an info-graphic( http://thumbnails-visually.netdna-ssl.com/tech-for-pets_554b5d5f1b349.jpg )which I think pet lovers may enjoy, as well as anyone who has an interest in technology. I can see from your website that you publish similar content, so I thought you might like to use it. If you do, fantastic but I would ask that you kindly credit my website using this url http://www.gapnsw.com.au/ If you need an intro to go with the graphic, let me know and I’d be happy to write one up. Of course any feedback is welcome. Best Regards, Tom Clarke Marketing Manager Greyhounds as pets

Answered: give five example of pet animal

That's easy. Cats and dogs top my list. Then fish, birds, horses, rodents such as rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs. Many people keep exotic animals as pets. Exotics are usually animals other than cats, dogs and horses. Some people have unusual pets such as snakes and lizards. The most important point when choosing a pet is whether you can commit to its lifetime of proper care.

Answered: How do I find a puppy a good home?

Contact your local animal shelter or animal rescue group. These organizations can help with suggestions on how to screen potential adopters. You can place an ad in the local newspaper, ask your vet or ask friends or relatives if they are interested in adopting the pup. If a stranger is interested, prepare a list of questions to make sure their intentions are to give the pup a good home for its life. Visit their home to make sure it's the right place. If any of the perspective adopters refuse to comply, look further.

Answered: how long can doe flemish rabbits give birth

Flemish rabbits can grow quite large, can reach about 20-22 lbs., and especially need a good size cage when expecting a litter. These rabbits don't like the heat and should be kept out of the sun and taken indoors when the temperature is over 90 degrees. A covered floor for the cage such as plywood gives the rabbit a comfortable place to lie on and has the advantage of being easy to clean as it lifts out. The best age to begin breeding a Flemish rabbit is 9 months. They give birth after 30-32 days usually. Litters can be anywhere from 5-12 babies. It's best if they have no more litters after the age of three years old.

Answered: Is it too soon to get another pet?

There is no wrong time to get another pet after the loss of one. It just shows how much love you have in your heart and what a wonderful relationship you had with your angel of 17 years. Just be sure you are ready. The new pet cannot replace the other, but can bring new joy into your life. And if you adopt a pet, you'll be saving their life.

Answered: Where is the best place to go to adopt a cat?

Definitely not pet shops as they get puppies and kittens from mills where they live in horrible conditions. Purchasing such a pet supports these places. Pet Smart is the exception as they offer shelter pets for sale. But the best place to adopt is your local shelter. You would be saving a life and you will find your best friend in shelters and rescues.
